Valley Expands to New Technology in Robotic Surgery, Endoscopy

This summer marks an exciting milestone for surgical care at Valley. We are upgrading our robotic operating rooms with the newest generation of surgical robots, increasing our robotic surgery capacity by 50% and helping more patients receive minimally invasive surgery close to home. Read more.

HealthPoint and Valley Collaborate to Address
Unmet Demand for Care

HealthPoint and Valley Medical Center & Clinics are collaborating to expand access to essential healthcare services in Kent with the opening of a new HealthPoint clinic at the site of Valley’s former Kent Primary Care Clinic. 

Scheduled to open in early fall 2026, HealthPoint’s new Kent East Hill Clinic will provide integrated primary care, pregnancy and reproductive care, and behavioral health, with pharmacy and dental services expected to be available in 2027.  Read more about the collaboration.

Join the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

Valley's Patient Family Advisory Council partners with Valley staff and leadership to elevate the voices of patients, families, and community members, helping shape patient- and family-centered care, strengthen trust and engagement with the community, and improve the healthcare experience for the people we serve.

PFAC is comprised of three Valley co-chairs and up to 10 community members. Learn more and find out how to apply.

Join Valley Girls & Guys and Valley Medical Center & Clinics on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the 8th annual Be the Hope Walk--participate in-person or virtually. The 5K walk supports cancer patients, oncology programs, and care at Valley and other local organizations.

Summer Camp with a Side of Learning!

Valley was excited to welcome a group of high school students (and potential future healthcare workers!) from Afghan Health Initiative, sharing the many pathways to a career in healthcare. The students had a chance to ask questions of some of our staff members, tour the hospital, and practice some hands on activities, from CPR and finger splints to fetal monitoring and reading X-rays. Before You Go... 

  • King County Metro construction is planned on Talbot Rd. S July 27 - August 8. This will impact traffic around our main campus. Please plan accordingly. 
  • The Nephrology Clinic moved from Kent to the main campus on July 13. It is now in Medical Arts Center Suite 450.
  • The Oncology & Hematology, High Risk Screening & Genetics, and Supportive & Palliative Care Clinics will move to East Pavilion Suite 310 on August 31.
